This course is about photography rather than cameras, almost all of the techniques and tips here are as applicable to a smartphone as they are to a DSLR, a ‘Mirrorless’ or for that matter a retro-hipster film (or should that be ‘analogue’) camera.
Strong composition is central to good photography but is often overlooked. This Online Composition Course is full of tips and techniques to improve your images.
We will explore composition from every angle, You will learn when to The Rule of Thirds and equally important when not to. How to use Leading Lines, the Rule of odds, Sub-framing, Negative Space, the Psychology of Colour, Visual Rhythm and many other ways to create beautiful and powerful compositions.

Photography Workshop Bali 2024
Di and I are excited to announce our first Photographic Workshop based in Ubud, Bali.
The focus of this Photography Workshop will be Creative Travel Photography. People and Street Photography will form a central part of the course.
We’ll take advantage of Bali’s lush tropical environment to capture beautiful landscape images. Participants will immediately put into practice techniques and tips learnt in the workshop. Both beginners and more experienced photographers are very welcome.
