Di and I are excited to announce our first Photographic Workshop based in Ubud, Bali.
The focus of this Photography Workshop will be Creative Travel Photography. People and Street Photography will form a central part of the course.
We’ll take advantage of Bali’s lush tropical environment to capture beautiful landscape images. Participants will immediately put into practice techniques and tips learnt in the workshop. Both beginners and more experienced photographers are very welcome.
The rich cultural life of Bali is unique, weaving celebration and ceremony into daily village life. The 210-day Balinese lunar calendar is full of colour and spectacle. Our base in Ubud in Bali’s central highlands gives us access to a wide range of events and cultural activities.
We will rise fairly early to take full advantage of the cool freshness of the morning and the finest light of the day. Accompanied by the sound of crowing cockerels and the aroma of incense we’ll capture images of this special part of the day. Followed by a delicious breakfast and plenty of Balinese ‘kopi’.
This workshop will give participants the opportunity to learn, practice and develop a range of techniques that are essential for travel, ‘street’ and landscape photography. We will also be ready to capture what we come across along the way!
Ubud and the villages that surround it are the beating cultural heart of the island. Ubud has the finest troupes of dancers and performers and we will capture both the fascinating preparations and performances.
